NO LOADSHEDDING EXPECTED TODAY
Eskom terminated loadshedding last night at 23:00, earlier than anticipated. As reported earlier, Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony and Ivory Park were exoected to be loadshed from midnight.
However, the Loadshedding was terminated. The power utility says water levels at pumped storage schemes have been adequately replenished.
“The system remains constrained and vulnerable, with unplanned breakdowns at 13 041 MW. However, should there be a significant shift in plant performance and an increase in unplanned breakdowns, Loadshedding could be implemented at short notice.”
