JOB ALERT: HEALTH WORKERS WANTED

The Gauteng Department of Health has embarked on a massive recruitment drive to ensure that there’s enough capacity in the province to deal with the anticipated rise in the number of people testing positive for COVID-19.

Gauteng is the province with the highest number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus. The Province recorded 409 confirmed cases at last count.

The Department of Health is looking for health practitioners in the following fields: nurses, medical officers, operational managers, pharmacy, physiotherapy, radiography, speech and audiology. The health workers are called to offer their skills to help contain and mitigate the coronavirus.

As the work to stop the further spread of the coronavirus intensifies, additional capacity across the board will be required and as such all available health professionals are called upon to take this information to make a meaningful contribution.

All applications can be made on the recently launched digital platform. The system will assist to speed up the recruitment of qualified health personnel.
