LOAD REDUCTION BEKE LE BEKE
Eskom will implement load reduction in some parts of Kaalfontein, Ebony Park, Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge, Lindokuhle and Tswelopele today, 8 July 2021, for 5 hours from 17:00 until 22:00.
The power utility implements load reduction in high density areas and areas with high instances of meter bypassing and illegal connections to avoid network over loading.
Residents are reminded to switch off electrical appliances during the load reduction to avoid damage to electrical appliances and transformer failures when the power is restored.
