JOB ALERT: CENTRE MANAGER WANTED AT MALL OF THEMBISA

Exemplar REITail is requesting CVs to fill the Centre Manager position at Mall of Thembisa.

The Centre Manager is responsible for:

the effective management of the shopping centre.
ensure that all buildings, grounds, equipment, facilities and surrounds are well maintained and in optimal working condition.
assist in procuring services, managing third party service contracts and implements maintenance procedures.
ensure all health, safety and environmental statutory obligations and industry best practices procedures are adhered to, and the company’s OHASA policy is implemented at all times.
To control, facilitate and co-ordinate all services and administrative related functions to tenants.
Liaise with tenants with regard to operational problems and provide feedback.
Reports all on goings, developments, activities and significant problems to senior management staff.
Provide leadership to assigned on site personnel through the effective setting of objectives, delegation and communication.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Higher Certificate or Diploma in related shopping centre/ facilities management fields;
5 years’ experience in shopping centre/ building management;
Advanced computer and writing skills;
Good people skills, and be able to communicate effectively;
Good self-management skills;
Solve complex problems and make decisions;
To be ethical and have high personal standards;

Driver’s License is essential;

Must be available after hours and/or weekends in cases of emergency.
