SCHOOL SEARCH AT TEMBISA HIGH SCHOOLS
A School search targeting two priority schools in Tembisa, Masiqhakaze Secondary School and Masisebenze High School, was conducted on Wednesday, 07 September 2022.
Stakeholders included Tembisa South SAPS, Department of Education, Department of Community Safety, EMPD, Gauteng Traffic Police, Youth Crime Prevention Desk and Community Patrollers.
“The purpose of the search is to instill discipline within the problematic schools and to remind learners that a school is a place were they empower themselves for better success in the near future,” said Tembisa South SAPS Spokesperson, Constable Bridget Mavuso.
Dagga, Cigarettes and dangerous weapons were found on the search.
Teachers applauded all the efforts put by role players and urged that another search be done soon .
