10 MOST DANGEROUS ROADS IN MZANSI

Festive Season is a time when many South Africans travel back home. Most people live in Gauteng for work reasons and leave for the homelands in Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, North West, Mpumalanga In December.

Naturally, the National and Provincial Roads leading to these places are most busy during the festive season of December. Consequently, it is in this time that most accidents occur in our roads.

Last year, there were 1,612 deaths on South African roads during the festive season. The death toll is from December 1 2018 until January 8 2019.

N4 in Nelspruit

R61 in Mbizana

R573 Moloto Road

R61 in Cradock

N1 in Liangsburg

R71 in Mankweng

N2 in Libode

R37 in Mecklengburg

M35 in Folweni and

N3 in Warden

Some of the reasons accidents occur in South African Roads include drinking and driving, fatigue, speeding, reckless driving and unroadworthy vehicles.
