11 YEAR OLD BOY FOUND HEADLESS IN RABIE RIDGE

A 11 year old boy was found with his head removed from his body on Sunday the 12th of April 2020. The body was found by pedestrians who walk from Mayibuye to Midrand.

Spokesperson of the Rabie Ridge Police Station, Constable Jacob Nhlongo confirmed that the body was found dumped at Rabie Ridge openfields from Mayibuye towards Glen Austin. Community members alerted the Rabie Ridge Police Station when they discovered the headless body around 17:00 on Sunday.

UPDATE: The deceased’s family has identified the child. The child is from Ivory Park and was reported missing at the Ivory Park Police Station some time last week during the National Lockdown. The deceased’s family came forward when they recognised his clothes in a picture that was widely distributed on Whatsapp.
