2 SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN OLIVEN

Two male suspects have been nabbed and 1 illegal firearm confiscated today the 8th of December 2019. This is related to the taxi violence which has happening in Olievenhoutbosch.

The suspects were arrested by a Joint Team of the South African Police Service (SAPS) Taxi Violence Task Team, Gauteng Province Department of Community Safety and Gauteng Traffic Police (GTP).

The suspects are expected to appear in court soon.

The violence is on its third week. More than 5 fatalities and numerous injuries have been reported thus far.
