As of today, 22 April 2020, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa is 3,635. This is an increase of 170 from previously reported cases. A total of 6, 868 tests were done in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of reported cases to 133,744.

Unfortunately, 7 more people have died due to the coronavirus. The Deaths occurred in Western Cape (5) and KwaZulu-Natal (2). The national death toll is now 65.
