AFS TEAM MAKES STRIDES IN IMPROVING SERVICE DELIVERY AND CREATING JOBS IN KAE

The City of Johannesburg’s Augmented Field Service (AFS) team has been making great strides in enhancing service delivery in the Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE) area and surrounding communities of Ivory Park and Rabie Ridge.

The hard work and dedication of the AFS team is commendable and deserving of recognition. Recently, the AFS team has been making a noticeable impact in the area with their efforts to litter pick, skoffel, sweep, clear walkways, remove silt, perform horticultural maintenance, and cut grass.

Their commitment to acting as city ambassadors and augmenting visible service delivery is evident in the positive changes being seen in the area.

Some of the work done recently includes:

⁃ skoffeling and reinstating caps at Boshoff Road in ward 79.

⁃ sweeping and litter picking at Ivory Park Fire Station in ward 133

⁃ clearing walkways at Lord Khanyile Precinct in ward 78.

⁃ removing silt at Riverside Road in ward 77

⁃ horticultural maintenance at Thuthukani Clinic in Wad 111.

⁃ grass cutting at Dale Road

⁃ sweeping and litter picking at Riverside Road.

⁃ litter picking around Yarona Shopping Centre in Kaalfontein in Ward 92

The AFS team deserves a round of applause for their tireless efforts to enhance service delivery and provide job opportunities in KAE. The community should show its support by working together with the team to maintain a clean and beautiful area.
