ARRESTED FOR ILLEGALLY SELLING MUNICIPAL PROPERTY
A foreign national has been arrested by the Police after allegedly illegally selling municipal property in Kaalfontein.
The scam was uncovered during an intel driven operation by the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) Intelligence Operations Centre (IIOC) Reaction Unit, Hawks and City of Johannesburg’s anti fraud and corruption department (GFIS),
The suspect has been charged with theft, fraud and extortion. Cash was confiscated and the suspect has been detained at the Ivory Park Police Station.
