A body of an adult female has been recovered by emergency service teams under the rubble of a recently burned down complex in Midrand.
Johannesburg EMS said her body was found in the room where the fire began last night.
Almost the entire Urban Village Residential Complex, near Boardwalk Street in Midrand, was gutted by fire late on Tuesday night, 24 September 2024.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire that has left almost 130 households homeless with belongings burned by the fire.
