BREAKTHROUGH ARRESTS MADE IN KAALFONTEIN CIT HEIST CASE
The South African Police Service (SAPS) has executed a highly coordinated and intelligence-driven operation, leading to the arrest of four (4) suspects believed to be involved in the recent Cash-in-Transit (CIT) heist in Kaalfontein.
The CIT heist occurred on Tuesday, 3rd of October near Archerfish Drive, close to Eskom College.
It was a day when two powerful explosions rocked the neighborhood, leaving many in fear. The criminals had bombed a CIT armored truck and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The police were able to trace and arrest four individuals believed to have played a role in the heist. These suspects were arrested at various addresses.
The police recovered several pieces of crucial evidence. Among the items retrieved was a Mercedes Benz, believed to have been used as the getaway vehicle during the CIT heist. Additionally, dye-stained money was found, explosives and an AK47.
As the story continues to develops,the suspects will go to court soon while the police hunt for additional suspects.
