Eskom will implement load reduction today, 14 February 2021 at 17:00 until 22:00.
The load reduction is expected to last for 5 hours and affect Kaalfontein, Ebony Park, Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge, Lindokuhle and Tswelopele.
The load reduction is implemented to supposedly avoid network overloading in high density areas.
During the load reduction implementation, KAEns are urged to switch off all their electrical appliances to avoid possible damage due to power surges when supply returns.
