COVID-19 SCREENING AND TESTING AT EBONY PARK MALL

Officials from the Department of Health are currently at Busy Corner Mall for screening and testing of the Coronavirus. Members of the public displaying symptoms of COVID-19 are encouraged to visit the Mall today, 13 May 2020.

Symptoms of the novel virus include shortness of breath, fever and a dry cough. The Premier of Gauteng, David Makhura, and the MMC of Health Dr Bandile Masuku will also be visiting the Busy Corner Mall later today. They will be assessing compliance of shop-owners and shoppers with Lockdown Level 4 regulations.

At the time of publishing, the Gauteng Province had 2,014 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 1,428 recoveries and 22 related deaths. City of Johannesburg Region A which include Ebony Park, Kaalfontein, Ivory Park and Midrand have 158 confirmed cases.
