ESKOM IMPLEMENTS STAGE 2 LOADSHEDDING
Eskom has started implementing Loadshedding from 17:00 this evening. The Loadshedding will be implemented across the country until 22:00 on Tuesday night. The Power Utility says that this is due to a loss of ten generating units at seven power stations during the past 24 hours.
Our areas of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE) and surrounding areas of Ivory Park, Rabie Ridge, President Park, Glen Austin, Midrand, Lindokuhle and Tswelopele will be affected as follows:
Sunday, 16 May 2021 – 22:00 until 00:30
Monday, 17 May 2021 – 20:00 until 22:30
Tuesday, 18 May 2021 – 04:00 until 06:30
The community is urged to use electricity sparingly. KAE News will advise of further changes as and when necessary.
