ESKOM SCIENCE CAMP AT TEMBISA

Eskom Expo for Young Scientists in Gauteng hosted a science camp today the 27th of November 2019.

The Science Camp took place at Jiyana Secondary School in Tembisa and will move to SANBI Botanical Gardens tomorrow.

The objective of today’s science camp in Tembisa was to expose learners to different fields of Science and to have learners interact with researchers in order to inspire them to develop ideas for the Expo next year. Learners in Grade 6 to 12 can register for the science fair.

The ESKOM Expo for Young Scientists is Africa’s largest science fair. Furthermore, it is endorsed by the Presidency, Department of Basic Education, Department of Science & Technology and Department of Public Enterprise.

To enter your project into a District or Regional Expo in 2020, please contact your nearest Regional Science Fair Director (RSFD) who will provide you with information on the steps to follow when registering for that particular region.
