ESKOM SUSPENDS SERVICES IN KAE
The Power Utility Eskom has sent the below SMS to Eskom Clients with outstanding reference numbers.
“Eskom Ref –
Eskom has temporarily suspended its services in Ivory Park, Ebony Park and Kaalfontein due to community unrest. Customers will be informed when normal operations resume.”
Earlier an Eskom van was chased away by the Community when it became evident that the Eskom branded van is not in the area to restore electricity.
A Community Mass Meeting will be held at Ebony Park Primary School today, 5 August 2020 at 16:00.
The Ward 111 Councillor, Raisibe Matsemela told Newzroom Africa that 5 transformers have been replaced thus far.
