FAMILY MEETING TONIGHT
The President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, will today, 01 February 2021, address the nation on Government’s response to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Ramaphosa will adress the nation tonight at 20:00. The address follows meetings in recent days of the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC), the President’s Coordinating Council (PCC) and Cabinet.
There’s speculation that the alcohol ban will be lifted as confirmed coronavirus new cases have declined. Yesterday, there was 4,525 new cases of COVID-19 compared to the more than 10,000 daily cases when the alcohol ban was imposed.
