A uniformed female member of the South African Police Service (SAPS) was shot dead at Esangweni, Tembisa on Thursday afternoon.
Two female members of the Police were confronted by perpetrators at a foreign national owned shop at Esangweni, next to Chicken Licken.
According to eye witnesses and CCTV footage, the perpetrators disarmed the female cops on duty. One of the cops was shot and killed.
Suspects are on the run.
