Rabie Ridge Police are calling on victims of a company called Goldmine Stock Trade Market to come forward and issue statements at the Rabie Ridge Police Station.
A 34 year old man was arrested for fraud and will be appearing at the Tembisa Magistrates Court soon.
It is alleged that on the 12th of December 2019, the complainant came across the suspect. The man claimed to be able to multiply money. The complaint said her neighbor had ‘invested’ with the man and got paid in 3 months.
The complainant was hooked and invested an undisclosed amount of money expecting to get paid in 3 months. After the 3 months, when the complainant called the suspect he kept giving excuses.
Recently, the complainant organized people to call the suspect advising him that they want to invest money. When the suspect showed up, he was swiftly arrested.
The suspect has been detained at the Rabie Ridge Police Station and members of the community who have also been defrauded by the suspect are urged to visit the Station to issue statements or call the Rabie Ridge Police on 011 310 0410/20.
