FUN FEST 2: A Day of Vibrancy and Talent Showcase

For those who missed out on the thrilling event that was Fun Fest 2: Double The Fun at Busy Corner Mall this past Saturday, allow us to fill you in on the exciting happenings that unfolded.

Despite the unexpected arrival of rain, Fun Fest 2 managed to ignite the community with its display of talent, entertainment, and engaging activities. The event showcased an array of festivities ranging from mesmerizing dance-offs, electrifying tunes spun by our local DJs, delightful face painting for the young ones, and captivating performances by drum majorettes.

The KAE GOT TALENT Poetry category stood out as the sole winner was crowned amidst the weather adversity. Congratulations to Thabiso “Dindi” Mariri, the talented poet who secured the victory and walked away with a well-deserved R500 voucher, courtesy of Pick n Pay Busy Corner and KwikSave.

Regrettably, due to the inclement weather conditions, categories such as Dance, Hip Hop, and Singing couldn’t be carried out as planned. However, stay tuned for the upcoming Fun Fest 3 early next year, where these talented individuals will have the chance to showcase their skills and performances.
