HEAVY TRAFFIC IN KAE DUE TO PROTEST ACTION

Majority of motorists, commuters and learners residing in the areas of Ivory Park, Kaalfontein and Ebony Park will definitely be late on Monday, 08 April 2024.

This is a result of heavy traffic in Republic Road and Dale Road. The two roads that exit Kaalfontein and Ebony Park.

Heavy traffic is an understatement. It can take up to two (2) hours to leave the areas this morning.

This is as a result of a massive protest action in Rabie Ridge. The protest action is related to the ongoing occupation of the land near Rabie Ridge. On Friday and Sunday, makeshift structures in the land were demolished by private security forces. The legal description of the land is “ERF FARM ALLANDALE 10 REGISTRATION DIVISION IR PROVINCE OF GAUTENG “.
