INVITATION TO IDP CONSULTATION PROCESS WITH COMMUNITY IN RABIE RIDGE

The Speaker of Council in the City of Johannesburg, Cllr Nonceba Molwele, will host a hybrid IDP meeting at the Rabie Ridge Community Hall today, Saturday, 17 April 2021 from 10:00 until 12:00.

The IDP meeting is hybrid in that it will take place Virtually on Microsoft Teams here and physically at the Rabie Ridge Community Hall.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, no more than 200 people will be allowed in the hall and no more than 50% of the venue capacity will be utilised.

The City also invites written submissions on the Draft 2021/22 IDP, Medium Term Budget and Tariffs from residents/stakeholders and any interested organisations in the City. The submissions may be made online at joburg.org.za.

Alternatively, written comments can be deposited in clearly marked boxes provided at Regional Offices. All submissions should reach the City on or before 7 May 2021.

IDPs are important as they give community members an opportunity to participate in their own development in their respective communities. The IDP will be for Region A and it’s wards include Wards in Ebony Park, Ivory Park and Rabie Ridge.
