Members from the Ivory Park SAPS’s Visible Police have arrested two men wanted for attempted murder and robbery cases committed in Giyani, Limpopo last year.
The two were arrested in Ivory Park Extension 11, after the crime intelligence officers from Giyani got wind of the fact that the two were in the area.
The two, aged 23 and 27, were also found in possession of a toy gun, which resembled a real thing, four rounds of live ammunition and two electro shock weapons.
They will be charged by the Ivory Park SAPS for possession of a dangerous weapon and live ammunition and, once they have been dealt and done with this side, will then be transported to Limpopo from where their accountability session with the justice system will continue.
The Station Commander of the Ivory Park SAPS, Brigadier David Mbongeni Ngcobo, has welcomed the duo’s arrest, adding “based on the array of the tools they were found in possession of, it wouldn’t be farfetched to say they were prone to continuing with their alleged criminal activities from this side”.
