IVORY PARK YOUTH INVITED TO BE PART OF SCHOOL INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM

YouthBuild South Africa is inviting interested young people in Ivory Park to be part of a school infrastructure programme.

This is a skills training programme that seeks to engage out of school and unemployed youth with the aim of equipping them with Building and Civil Construction Skills, Life Skills, Entrepreneurship and Work Readiness Skills.

Applicants must have a positive attitude towards life, need work related skills/experience in construction and have interest to serve their community.

Requirements:

⁃ A minimum qualification: Grade 11, attempted Grade 12, completed Grade 12 or any other additional qualification.

⁃ Must understand, read and write in English.

⁃ Must be between ages 17 – 34 years old.

⁃ Demonstrate leadership skills.

⁃ Involvement with community projects will be an advantage.

⁃ One person per family must apply.

⁃ Technical experience or training in Building and Civil Construction will be an advantage.
