Education Level: Diploma in Graphic/Communication Design

Experience:Minimum of 1 year experience in the design industry

Job Requirements: MAXHOSA looking for a talented, passionate and hardworking Graphic Designer who pays attention to detail and providing design output focused on all MAXHOSA’s Brand Identity (not limited to):

Typical Day to Day Tasks:

? Translating briefs and concept to life based on the brand’s needs and vision.

? Preparing mock-ups, renders and presenting to the design, production, sales and communication team.

?Editing proofs and getting signoff/approval before finalising artwork.

?Working and collaborating with art director, copywriter and other relevant team members.

?Supplier administration communication.

?Adapting and rolling out approved concepts to various media, above and below the line platforms.

?Project management skills: working within budget, deadline and production constraints.

?Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent to press and production facilities.

?Developing and maintaining the brand corporate identity, adhering brand identity and guidelines.

?Ensure branding and product sales material are available at all times (paper bags, packaging boxes, thank you cards, swing tags etc).

?Conceptualising look books for fashion, accessories and furniture lines.

?Design and edit on Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Preference will be given to:

?An applicant with a valid driver’s license.

? A candidate who can multi-task and work under pressure.

?Creative individuals, who are aware about trends and able to conceptualise original ideas

?Being able to shoot and edit product shots for online store and catalogue.

? Have a strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases a strong unique design aesthetic.

?Good communication skills to accurately convey concepts to brand and team members.

?An experience in UX design, must also have an understanding of how to manage websites and online store using platforms such as Shopitfy, Woocommerce, CPanel, Afrihost etc.
