Exemplar REITail is requesting CVs to fill the Centre Manager position at Mall of Thembisa.
The Centre Manager is responsible for:
- the effective management of the shopping centre.
- ensure that all buildings, grounds, equipment, facilities and surrounds are well maintained and in optimal working condition.
- assist in procuring services, managing third party service contracts and implements maintenance procedures.
- ensure all health, safety and environmental statutory obligations and industry best practices procedures are adhered to, and the company’s OHASA policy is implemented at all times.
- To control, facilitate and co-ordinate all services and administrative related functions to tenants.
- Liaise with tenants with regard to operational problems and provide feedback.
- Reports all on goings, developments, activities and significant problems to senior management staff.
- Provide leadership to assigned on site personnel through the effective setting of objectives, delegation and communication.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Higher Certificate or Diploma in related shopping centre/ facilities management fields;
- 5 years’ experience in shopping centre/ building management;
- Advanced computer and writing skills;
- Good people skills, and be able to communicate effectively;
- Good self-management skills;
- Solve complex problems and make decisions;
- To be ethical and have high personal standards;
Driver’s License is essential;
Must be available after hours and/or weekends in cases of emergency.
