JOHANNESBURG WATER ANNOUNCES POWER INTERRUPTION RESOLVED AT RAND WATER’S PURIFICATION PLANT IN MIDRAND

Residents of Midrand can breathe a sigh of relief as Johannesburg Water announces that the power interruption at Rand Water’s Zuikerbosch purification plant has been resolved. The plant is now in the process of regaining normal operations.

Once the plant is back online, pumping will resume to the various pumping stations, and water supply to affected areas will gradually return to normal. However, it is important to note that recovery of the affected water systems will take time, and there is no known time of full restoration at the time of publishing.
