JOHANNESBURG WATER CONDUCTING METER READINGS IN KAE

Johannesburg Water officials are currently conducting water readings in Kaalfontein, Allandale and Ebony Park (KAE). Johannesburg Water is a City of Johannesburg entity that provides water and sanitation services.

The City of Johannesburg is aware that the number of days billed for water during the COVID-19 National Lockdown was in excess of the standard 30 days. The City is also aware of accounts billed based on estimated consumption after pictures of meter readings were submitted. This has resulted in a higher than normal total monthly bill.

The City is working to resolve billing errors and residents are urged to pay monthly consumption bill as normal.
