KAE Then & Now: From Gravel to Growth

When Rakhivhani arrived in 2010, Archerfish Drive and Angelfish Street looked very different from what we see today.

Back then, it was just an open piece of land used as a taxi rank, ferrying passengers to various destinations from Kaalfontein.

There were no proper structures, no Roots Butchery, and certainly no Engen Filling Station.

Fast forward to today, and this corner has been completely transformed.

What was once an informal taxi stop is now a proper taxi rank, providing convenience and structure to the growing population of Kaalfontein.

Roots Butchery serves the community’s culinary needs, and the Engen Filling Station keeps cars fueled and ready to go. The area now represents progress, with essential services and businesses developing around this once-bare land.

Stay tuned for more spots as we continue this journey through KAE Then & Now!
