LAST WEEK’S CAREER EXPO AT KAALFONTEIN HIGH SCHOOL A HUGE SUCCESS

Last week Friday, 11 April 2025, Kaalfontein High School proudly hosted a Career Expo aimed at empowering and guiding learners toward a brighter future.

The event was graced by Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Ms Nonceba Mhlauli, and took place from 09:00 to 12:00 at the school premises located at 1603 Bluegum Street, Ebony Park, Midrand.

The Expo was targeted specifically at Grade 11 and 12 learners, providing them with access to valuable career and educational information. Various institutions and organisations were in attendance, including:
• City Parks
• NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme)
• IDT (Independent Development Trust)
– Rand Water
• And many more representatives across government and career sectors.

Learners were inspired, informed, and encouraged to “Unlock Their Potential” as they prepare for life after high school.

This event comes as no surprise from Kaalfontein High School, which was the best-performing school in the Greater KAE area for the 2024 academic year, under the stellar leadership of Principal Makhubele.
