Rand Water and Johannesburg Water restrictions are underway.
Our reservoirs of Rabie Ridge Reservoir; President Park Reservoir; Grand Central Reservoirs and Rem Allandale reservoirs which supply Greater Midrand, President Park, Kaalfontein, Ebony Park, Rabie Ridge and Ivory Park are affected.
Residents are urged to use water sparingly as the City of Johannesburg is still under Level -1 water restrictions as per Section 44 (3) of the Water Services By-law.
A list of water tankers will be published as and when they are dispatched by KAE News.
At the time of publishing some areas in KAE and surrounding areas do not have water and others have low water pressure.
It is not clear when the restrictions will be implemented and what time the water will be restored. Residents are encouraged to have water reserves saved in buckets.
