LOADSHEDDING SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK
“Stage 5 loadshedding will be implemented on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, with varying stages implemented for the rest of the week” said Eskom in a statement on Tuesday, 05 July 2022.
The power utility says that while some generation units have been returned to service, this is not enough to suspend Loadshedding as some other units have been taken offline for repairs.
Loadshedding will therefore continue being implemented at varying stages during the next few weeks as the generation capacity shortages persist.
