Johannesburg Water says that “Due to low inflow levels as a result of the Eskom power failure at Rand Water’s Palmiet system, some Johannesburg Water systems have been affected.”
This includes the Midrand system, which is currently empty. Customers in low-lying areas are experiencing poor pressure, while customers in high-lying areas have no water supply.
Alternative water supply through mobile water tankers is being provided as follows:
