MASHABA TO OPEN BRIDGE IN KAALFONTEIN TOMORROW
Tomorrow morning of the 4th of October 2019 the Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg Herman Mashaba and the MMC for Transport, Councilor Nonhlanhla Makhuba will open the newly completed Kaalfontein pedestrian bridge.
The bridge is in Kaalfontein, Ward 92 and will serve as a link between various extensions in Kaalfontein. In rainy seasons before the bridge was built scholars had difficulty in getting to nearby Drake Koka Primary School due to water streams not being safe to cross.
The official opening of the bridge will take place tomorrow at 10:45am.
