MIDRAND COMPLEX ON FIRE
Almost the entire Urban Village Residential Complex, near Boardwalk Street in Midrand, was gutted by fire late on Tuesday night, 24 September 2024.
The complex is near the Gautrain Station.
City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) fire fighters managed to extinguish the fire and injured patients have been transported to nearest health care facilities for further medical care by Gauteng EMS.
No fatalities have been reported. The cause of the fire incident is unknown.
