MIDRAND LICENCING DEPARTMENT CLOSED
The Midrand Licencing Department is currently closed to the public. All Learners Licence test, Driving Test, License Renewals and collections have been suspended from yesterday the 16th of March 2020. All bookings will be deferred to a later date.
This comes after the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, announced measures to limit further contamination of the Coronavirus. There’s fears that the Licencing Centre has a risk of spreading the virus hence the temporary closure.
The Midrand Licensing Department management are awaiting further communication from the City of Johannesburg and delivery of gloves and hand sanitizers. Further communication will be provided.
