MORE THAN 50 000 CONFIRMED CORONAVIRUS CASES IN SOUTH AFRICA
As South Africa enters the second week of Level 3 and the reopening of schools, the number of confirmed COVID-19 patients is 50 879.
943 059 tests have been conducted in the county thus far. Regrettably, we report a further 82 COVID-19 related deaths. This brings the national death toll to 1,080.
The recovery rate is 51,4% with 26 099 recoveries recorded to date.
