MURDER SUSPECT ARRESTED IN GIYANI AFTER FLEEING IVORY PARK CRIME SCENE
On Saturday 01 March 2025, Mopani District Tracking Team activated a massive manhunt after they were alerted about a 37-year-old male suspect who is on the run following the alleged murder of his girlfriend last month February 2025 in Ivory Park.
The suspect was reportedly hiding at Bode Village under Giyani policing area.
A joint operation comprising of Giyani police and K9 Unit led to the apprehension of the suspect at his hideout in Bode village.
The 37-year-old suspect appeared in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court facing a charge of murder and is remanded.
Police investigations are continuing.
