The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Blade Nzimande, officially opened the NSFAS 2021 Application cycle, yesterday the 3rd August 2020.
To be eligible for NSFAS funding applicant must :
?be a South African citizen;
?Come from a family with a combined annual household income of not more than R350 000 per annum;
?For students with a disability, the combined annual household income of not more than R600 000 per annum.
NSFAS funding covers the cost of registration, tuition and allowance for food, learning material, personal care and accommodation or transport.

It is very important that students provide the correct ID numbers, name and surname as reflected in their ID documents when completing the 2021 application.
Applications for 2021 funding will be done online via myNSFAS portal as per previous years.
