PETROL SET TO RISE
The Central Energy Fund said the price of both grades of petrol is posed to rise at midnight today.
You will have to cough up 11cent extra for liter of 93 and 95 octane fuel and 26cents extra for diesel. The maximum retail price for paraffin will go up by 32cents per liter. The retail price of liquid petroleum gas will fall 16c/kg.
The fuel hike will increase at midnight the Mineral Resources and Energy department says international and local factors contributed to the hike. Amongst the factors that contributed to the hike is the depreciation of the South African Rand to the United States Dollar.
