The communities of Kaalfontein, Allandale, Ebony Park (KAE), Ivory Park and Rabie Ridge are advised to save water for imminent water shutdown next week.
Johannesburg Water says the areas will have a planned water interruption on Thursday, 30 March 2023.
There will be no water from 08:00 until 16:00 on the day. The reason for the water outage is “Rand Water Inlet Meter Replacement” in the President Park reservoir as announced by Johannesburg Water on Thursday, 23 March 2023.
During Water Outage, Water Tankers will be deployed in the below areas in Ward 111.
- Umqhele Secondary School, Ivory Park
- Lindokuhle next to the Church Living Word Miinistry , Ivory Park
- Lindokuhle West next to Thuthukani Clinic, Ivory Park
- Kaalfontein Ext 1 next to Kaalfontein Primary School
- Kaalfontein Ext 1, next to ZCC
- Kaalfontein Ext 4 next to Carwash near Clinic
- Kaalfontein Ext 7A next to Boxer
- Ext 1 next to the robot at Mudhopper Street
- Ebony Park Ext4 next to Ebony Park Primary School
- Ebony Park Ext 5 next to Arial
- Ebony Park Ext 6 next to Bohloko Street
- Ebony Park Stop 40 next to Church
