The first incident happened on Friday, 26 May 2023, at Ebony Park Ext 5. The deceased person was assaulted by unknown people and was taken to Germiston mortuary and not identified.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased ‘s name is Mr Mondle Mabena but there is no address or other information of the deceased. The body is still not claimed at Germiston mortuary.
In another incident happened on the 2024/05/10. The deceased person passed away at Tembisa Hospital .On his hospital file he is known as Mr. Bongani Chunu , 50 years old, with an unknown address.
He was admitted on 2024/03/28 and passed away on 2024/05/10. He was picked up at Kaalfontien Extension 5, after being assaulted by Community. Since he passed on, the body has not been claimed at Germiston Mortuary.
The results from preliminary investigations revealed the persons as unknown . Family members are requested to come forward before they receive pauper funeral
