RABIE RIDGE PLANNED WATER MAINTENANCE

Johannesburg Water (JW) wishes to inform residents of the Rand Water planned maintenance of its B6 pipeline from Friday, 19th August 2022 until Tuesday, 23rd August 2022.

This tie-in is scheduled to start at 17:00 on Friday and is scheduled to be completed at 09:00 on 23 August 2022.

“The scheduled tie-in is for the newly constructed B6 pipeline which has been constructed to augment a portion of the existing B6 pipeline” said Johannesburg Water in a statement.

The Planned Maintenance will affect the Rabie Ridge Reservoir amongst others. The Rabie Ridge Reservoir supplies water to Rabie Ridge, Mayibuye, Midrand Business Park, Commercia and Waterfall Complex.

Water supply will only be reduced by 10% during the maintenance period and there’s no water outage expected.

Customers are requested to use water sparingly during this period to avoid supply shortages. Johannesburg Water apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused.
