SASSA FRAUDSTERS ARRESTED
The Ivory Park police arrested 11 suspects aged between 24 to 48 years near the Engen garage in Kaalfontein.
The suspects were in possession of 250 SASSA cards. They were fraudulently allocating pin codes for each of the cards intended for Grant beneficiaries.
“All of the three vehicles in use by the suspects , 11 cell phones and a laptop at the time of the arrest were confiscated.” Said the Ivory Park spokesperson Captain Bernard Matimulane.
The suspects are expected to appear in court soon and community members are requested to visit the Ivory Park Police Station should they have more information that will assist in the successful conviction of the suspects and anyone who has been a victim of the fraud.
