SHAUNE MOGAILA COURT APPEARANCE DELAYED DUE TO DOCKET ISSUES
Sekhukhune United soccer player Shaune Mogaila’s scheduled court appearance on Thursday, 31 October 2024, did not proceed as the docket was deemed incomplete by the National Prosecution Authority (NPA).
NPA spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane stated that the South African Police Service (SAPS) has been instructed to prepare and return the docket by November 1 for further action.
Mogaila was set to face charges of culpable homicide, reckless driving, and fleeing an accident scene following a fatal crash in Tembisa that killed 9-year-old Gomolemo Mavimbela.
Her mother, currently in ICU, reportedly remains unaware of her daughter’s passing.
Mogaila remains in custody.
