SUSPECT ARRESTED AND CAR RECOVERED IN EBONY PARK
A Tracker activation has led South African Police and Tracker officials to recover a hijacked Toyota Corolla in Ebony Park on Wednesday afternoon. The car was recovered at Boshoff Street between Ebony Park and President Park.
It is understood that the vehicle was hijacked in Woodmead after suspects were involved in a shooting.
One person was killed and three others wounded in the shooting incident on a bridge over the M1 highway at Woodmead. The motive of the shooting is currently unknown and investigations are underway.
One suspect has been arrested and two AK47 rifles were recovered. Police are on the hunt for the remaining suspects.
