SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR STRIPPING STOLEN TAXI

A Suspect has been Arrested for Stripping Stolen Toyota Quantum in Winnie Mandela Zone 11.

In a coordinated operation, members of SAPS Tembisa, Gauteng Traffic Police SLEU, Gauteng Traffic Wardens SLEU, and the EMPD Tactical Unit swiftly responded to intelligence regarding a male suspect stripping a Toyota Quantum. The incident occurred at the open field sports grounds in Winnie Mandela Zone 11.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials began investigating the vehicle. The Toyota Quantum’s VIN number was circulated and verified, confirming that the vehicle was positively linked to a stolen motor vehicle case registered at KwaThema SAPS.

The suspect was promptly arrested on-site and has been charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The swift action by the involved units highlights the ongoing commitment of law enforcement agencies to combat motor vehicle theft and related crimes in the region.
