TAXI DRIVER GRADUATE REFUNDED R52 500 CASH BY ASSOCIATION

Our favorite taxi driver, Pelican Nkazimulo Khumalo received his University of South Africa (UNISA) tuition fees back today at a ceremony held by the Ivory Park Taxi Association (IPTA) in Midrand.

The tuition fees amount to R52 500. KAE News was honored to be invited by the Association. Present at the hand over was the Chairperson of IPTA and President of South African National Taxi Council (Santaco) in Gauteng , Johannes Mkhonza and IPTA Vice Chairperson Vusi Macheke.

The 28 year old, Eqinisweni Secondary School former student was delighted and thanked the Association. He has received his tuition fees back together with a personal laptop. Khumalo’s plans are to further his studies and one day get a PhD Degree.

The Association is big on Education and encourages students to study hard. Every year top performing students are identified around Ivory Park and awarded with laptops and bursaries.

The Taxi Association lives up to its motto of Serving With Pride,,Service and Safety. We look forward in working hand to hand with the Association in other projects.
